Cheers to my captain!

I am so thankful for Jeff to have come into my life and share in my hopes and dreams. He is the best man I know and feel so thankful for him making all of my dreams come true. I can't believe how amazing he is and appreciate him and love him more and more each day. Thanks Jeff Whitwer for everything you do. XOXO I promise to make sure you have the most fun and love you like crazy for the rest of you life:)

"Wine Down Wednesday"

So after seeing Chuck Norris last Wednesday evening at the local watering hole Ash had a friend visiting from Clearwater (over on the east coast) so we thought we would try our luck again and see if he was here. Unfortunately he was not but we still had fun!

Mrs.Turtle

So it is sea turtle egg laying season here in Florida and they like to come check in on their nests every so often....lucky for us she came just at the right time to get her 15 minutes of fame! I wanted to post it on You Tube but she didn't seem excited about it. Oh and by the way no animals were hurt during the filming of this clip...and the foot you see wasn't mine, the pedestrian was just trying to help the turtle from getting stuck in the cracks of the boardwalk.

We're finally here!!!

Ok so now that I have a little time I can tell everyone what the heck we've been doing! We have been here for exactly for 1 week so far and oh my goodness it's hot! I am talking you are sweating at 8 in the morning hot and you sure ain't goin outside, unless to swim, between 3-6 pm! But we are enjoying it so much!!! The lovely town of Mount Dora Florida is like a small, beachside town. Something I would compare to La Conner in WA but much bigger and very active. The whole town revolves around having fun and bringing your dog everywhere you go. Seriously all the bars, restaurants, shopping stores and parks want you to bring your dog. Every Friday the bars have "Yappy Hour" so everyones dogs can get together and hang while their owners drink themselves silly:)It really is genious if you ask me;)Jeff has purchased his first surf board and is a natural, of course! I haven't mustered up the guts to try yet because I have been nursing a pretty bad sunburn and the ocean pulls me every which way even when I am ankle deep. It's ok, you can judge me, I am a total wussy! For now at least! Poor Jeff got "cankles" his ankles got so sunburned the first day at the beach! We went and bought the strongest suntan lotion and used it all within the next 2 trips to the beach. I thought I knew hot sun and apparently I didn't! This sun here on the eastcoast is so different. One day last week we went to a natural cold spring that has crystal clear water in the middle of a forrest and snorkeled. We were able to see where the water "bubbles" out of the earth, so amazing! Then we went on a nature walk, harmless right? WRONG! At first I was like oh cute, look at the lizards. Then I was dodging huge birds that I cannot even begin to describe and finally I saw a horsefly almost take out Jeff that was so large it looked like a golfball with wings! So we were on our way out when we saw a beetle cookin in the sun and it was about the size of 3 quarters laying down. It had 3 sections people!!! Not 1, or 2, but 3!!!! Crazy! Oh yeah we met a guy that looks like Chuck Norris and asked him if we could take a picture with him. He was super nice! Thanks Chuck!!! PS....we may have seen some gators too since we've been here. The slideshow shows some but I promise to take better pics!!!:) We love you all and miss you so much!

Here is Avery offering Tex one of her home cooked meals in her very own kitchen! She doesn't quite understand why Tex isn't more enthusiastic. He was very grateful of course but caught on pretty quick that the food wasn't really cooked all the way;)

Here they are in our their wonderful glory!!! I am holding the newest addition, Anistyn, then Miss Avery in the middle and finally (as far away from Tex as possible) is Jeff holding Ash. Let's just say that though Avery LOVES Tex and will probably miss him more than us, he wasn't Ashy's favorite visitor!!!

Well here we are! We made it to Nevada! My oh so gracious sister-in-law and her husband has taken us in for a night. We celebrated with delicious mexican food and spent the evening catching up and spending valuable time with our 3 beautiful nieces. We love you guys so much and already miss you!! Thank you Pryors so much for having us:)

My true love

My love, how he deals with my craziness I will never know but he is the world to me and I love him more each day.

Our amazing parents...

None of this would be possible with out our amazing parents. Maybe one day if Jeff and I work really hard, we can be just like them! We love you guys so much and already are missing you from the bottom of our hearts.

My lovely ladies, oh how you will be missed.

Words will never describe the feeling I felt that night you guys surprised me. You are the bestest friends a gal could ever ask for. Thank you so much for always being there. And thank you Nicolle for the awesome night (she was the brain behind the operation:) Miss you already!

First day of move...

Empty trailer: This is Tex investigating what we will be living out of for the next week or so...he doesn't look very impressed!
Full trailer: This is my adorable nephew who is showing us what our full trailer looks like Vanna White style;) Oh wait is that a bucs helmet blanket?? Nope! It's the Cougs!!! We gotta represent!

The weather is not in our favor as we sprint back and forth from the house to the trailer and to the garage to the trailer! The rain turned into hail, then lightning and then thunder! What a way to remember the state of WA:)

The Day has finally arrived...

Hey everyone!!! The day has finally come for Jeff and I to make the big move across the country and go hang out for a while in the sunshine so we can remember what it looks like! This is our blogspot that we will use to keep everyone up to date and to keep in touch with you because your gonna be missed so much and we want to always know how and what your doing:) Please be patient with us, we are totally new to this blogging, facebooking or whatever you kids are using to keep in touch with everyone these days. What was ever wrong with the good 'ol fashion e-mailing I will never know! There are gonna be some rough waters ahead for us, please prepare yourself for the following: mispelled words(it apparently runs in the Whitwer family), pictures with no editing/airbrushing or any touch ups(eek-scary!), last minute up dates that may be written in late hours of the day so may not make sense, days may pass before remembering that there IS a blog that I am suppose to keep updated:), Twilight countdowns and LOTS of info regarding ANYTHING to do with Twilight and last but certainly not least---tons and tons of Texan photos. He is our only child we will have down south and is our pride and joy. Don't worry Mousse we won't forget about you.....we know your having the time of your life at Grandma & Grandpa's!!! Tex misses you!!!
