No more toads...

So many of you have heard my toad story from our honeymoon but for those that haven't it goes like this: I love foreign creatures, I love them so much I like to catch them if I can and check them out. Whenever we go anywhere I am always investigating the environment for cool bugs or animals. SO on our honeymoon I saw a large toad and I caught it! Yeah for me!!! But then immediately one of the workers at our resort yelled at me to drop it because apparently they secrete stuff that will blind you. Crap....I washed my hands for like a half an hour and Jeff was not happy with me. Well so what did I do last night when I saw a toad in front of our door? I caught it and took a pic! Me+toad=:) Jeff+me+toad=:( They are poisonous here too I guess, so NO more toads. Now if I could only catch one of the lizards...they are so fast though!

Wekiva Falls....SWEET!!!

The natural springs here are so amazing! The water is cold, mostly clear and beautiful wildlife hangs out everywhere. They are so great this place made itself an actual resort! You can camp,swim,bbq,go down water slides,canoe/kayak, drink adult beverages,bring your dog, have drinks at a little tiki bar and see the spring coming out in a "shower" form, all while listening to the DJ blast tunes throughout the resort! Brillant! Jeff and I enjoyed the spring and then went on a little canoe ride. We saw water snakes, turtles and bugs that shouldn't exist;)We even braved swimming in the creepy water after seeing these things. Brave or maybe not very intelligent....mmmm. Oh well heck you would swim too if you knew how freaking hot we were!!!!:)Oh yeah that thing you see in the teal, murky water is a turtle. He was too fast for me and my camera!

I am soo excited that I found this video because it makes me crack up whenever I watch it!!! I never thought I would like seeing a talking, headless turkey!

Just another day at the beach!

While Jeff and Ash were perfecting their surfing skills I took a a stroll to find some sea creatures. I was slightly successful but my picture skills need work. The dang blue crabs here are too stinkin fast! And as for the weird, dangly human body part looking thing....well your guess is as good as mine!!!

Our 1st Anniversary...

We had so much fun visiting the gulf coast for our anniversary! The weather wasn't the most cooperative but never the less it was still hotter than heck!!! We indulged in crab and prime rib (Jeff only on the meat front;) and watched the firework shows and finally capped off our night with dancing. So much fun. We talked about our wedding day ALL day and still are so very thankful for all of you to have been there and share it with us. MISS YOU ALL, XOXOXOXOXO

In case you were wondering......

Jeff's enthusiasm was gone very quickly after getting to the premier of the movie Eclipse. I am sure you all can imagine how much he had prior to;)
